ARE WE READY?

The thoughts of Brother Asher below are most troubling; but they are in the Bible so they are facts. We must prepare ourselves as Believers for the days that are rushing upon us, faster than we realize. Keep focused on God and His promises to His children. Do not be troubled at calamity when it strikes. In regard to what is said below in this writing, which I believe in its entireity, I was reading this morning about Joshua when it was time to cross the Jordan, finally, after 40 years of wonderings, after the old generation had passed away because of disobedience and unbelief in God, a new people, a new creation was about to enter in.

The old wineskins, the past generation, was not able to contain the new wine, the new annointing. But, in context to the previous generation that died, the new still possessed the genes of the old, but were transformed into a believing generation. I feel it is the same for Believers today; we still contain the "genes" of the old with which we were raised, but a new creation has taken place and it is time that we enter and prepare do our own "crossing over" into what is happening in world affairs, both in the spiritual and the physical. In our daily lives, keep the Ark of the Covenant (Jesus, Messiah) in plain view so we will know the way to go, just as the new generation of the Children of Israel did in Joshua's day.

We are in for the trip of our lifetime!

As God told Joshua in Chapter 1 of his book, " This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may oberve to do according to all that is written therein; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; do not be afraid, neither be dismayed; for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

This promise is for us. Keep close to God. If we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us!

Second Holocaust
There is a direct relationship between the restoration of Israel and the 2nd Coming of Yeshua (Jesus). The connection between Israel and the End Times can be summarized in this three part saying: 2nd Coming, 2nd Pentecost, 2nd Holocaust.

2nd Coming
The Second Coming is real. As He ascended from earth to heaven at Jerusalem, so He will descend from heaven to earth at Jerusalem (Acts 10). His feet will literally stand again on the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4).

Yeshua will return not only to the place "Jerusalem" but to the people of Jerusalem. He said that He would not return until the people of Jerusalem receive Him back as King. "For I say to you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord'" - Matthew 23:39. Who is the "you" in this passage? – the people of Israel; in fact the same religious Jews who rejected Him in the first place.

2nd Pentecost
Before the 2nd Coming, a worldwide revival will take place. This revival will be similar to the one that took place in Jerusalem in the first century, but much wider. "It shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh… before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord" – Acts 2:17, 21.
The same fire of the Holy Spirit will be poured out… this time, not just in Jerusalem, but in the whole world, on all flesh. The flames of revival that will engulf the whole world will include Israel as well. This is what Paul meant that "All Israel will be saved" – Romans 11:26. This revival will lead to the 2nd Coming and the Resurrection of the Dead. "What will their acceptance be but life from the dead" – Romans 11:15.

2nd Holocaust
Revival in Israel is a pre-requisite to the 2nd Coming. Since the devil knows he will be defeated at Yeshua's coming, one of his central objectives is to stop the restoration of Israel, both physically and spiritually. At the end Satan will be so desperate he will incite all the nations of the world to try to destroy Israel.

Worldwide anti-Semitism and a war of all the nations against Israel is one of the most recurring themes of End Times' prophecies, both in the Old Testament and the New.
Revelation 16:14, 16; 19:19 They are spirits of demons which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty... And they gathered themselves together to the place called in Hebrew, Mount Megiddo… I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.

The kings and armies and nations of this world will gather together to make war against Yeshua (Revelation 19:19). They will be inspired by the devil and gathered by demons (Revelation 16:14). That war will culminate in Israel, on the plain surrounding Tel Megiddo (Revelation 16:16), and down to Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2). The battle will be spiritual and physical at the same time.

Like the First Holocaust
I write these words on the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day here in Israel. On this same day, an international conference sponsored by the United Nations, known as Durban II, is convening in Switzerland. The conference is led by Libya, Iran and Cuba. The conference, allegedly to fight racism, is just a cover up to condemn Israel. Even U. S. President Obama called the Durban II conference "hypocritical and counterproductive."

Iranian President Ahmadenijad is scheduled to be the key note speaker. Ahmadenijad has repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel and denied the Holocaust. Having him speak on the same day that the people of Israel are mourning the 6,000,000 Jews who were murdered in Europe is insidious and infuriating.

In the coming Holocaust, the Bible says that 2/3 of the people in Israel will be killed.Zechariah 13:8 – "It shall come to pass in all the land that two-thirds in it will be cut off and die." The first Holocaust took place in the middle of a world war. Millions of other people from the surrounding nations were killed, as well as the Jews. The same will be true in the second Holocaust.

If two thirds of the Jews will be killed, how many will be killed of the nations? – One Third. Revelation 9:15-16 – "So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them." Two hundred million is 2,000,000,000. That's 2 billion. That number was inconceivable in Bible times. However as the world population today is reaching 6 billion, a prediction of 2 billion as 1/3 is already becoming accurate.

Positive Ending
While this message of the 2nd Holocaust and Apocalyptic wars in the End Times sounds alarmist, let us remember that there is a positive ending. While the darkness gets darker, the light gets lighter. Isaiah 60:2 – "Behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The nations will come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising."
The 2nd Holocaust takes place concurrently with the 2nd Pentecost. And they both lead to the great victory at the 2nd Coming. Just as the first Holocaust and World War II ended up in the re-birth of the nation of Israel, so will the second Holocaust and World War III end up in the birth of the Millennial kingdom of peace and prosperity on earth.

Teaching-CROSSING THE JORDAN-Reuven Doron

CROSSING THE JORDAN – PART I
At this time of increasing national decline in the USA, lack of godly leadership, escalating globalization in the political, economic and monetary spheres, and the inevitable isolation of Israel, God’s people have a choice to make. Will we continue with the “business as usual” church life which the West has become accustomed to, making our endless rounds in the wilderness of futility, feeding on a limited diet of the Word of God, and remaining spiritually anemic, weak and exposed. Or, will we seize the moment as it were, gird up our loins, seek the face of the Lord afresh, and prepare to cross the Jordan into the Promised Land. Life in the wilderness, though safe from Egypt’s oppression, is nothing like the Promised Land!

“Now the children of Israel camped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight on the plains of Jericho. And they ate of the produce of the land on the day after the Passover, unleavened bread and parched grain, on the very same day. Then the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land; and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Canaan that year.” Joshua 5:10-12.

Forty years to the day after the First Passover had been observed in Egypt on that terrible night before the Exodus, the Israelites arrived to their next great Passover after crossing the River Jordan into the Promised Land. The reborn Hebrew nation, no longer slaves but now born free in the solitude of the vast wilderness under the pillar of fire and cloud, emerges into history’s full view by the plains of Jericho. Weary of the wilderness’ wanderings that spelled death to the old generation of slaves and birth to a new generation of warriors, the nation of Israel was now ready to obey the Lord’s voice and contend for His promises.

But before they could start marching throughout the Promised Land, God ordained another great national Passover, this one to be observed by the Jordan River under the shadow of Jericho’s fortifications. Though identical in ritual and regulations to the first great Passover in Egypt forty years earlier, this Jericho Passover was entirely different in purpose and intention. The first one was about getting out; this one is about getting in!

In the same way, the time is near for many of us who call upon the name of the Lord to move on from the old ways of “just surviving” and being content with a measure of spiritual freedom, and actually engage our true and biblical calling which is not only to escape Egypt and merely exist – but to enter into, fight for, and obtain all of the promises of God. The question is, are we willing to make the necessary sacrifices for such a transition? Can we die to our Egyptian slave mentality/identity in order to rise into the newness of a free and a bold life that turns back generational limitations and act on God’s word through faith and obedience?

PRIESTHOOD OF ALL BELIEVERS

While both Passovers saw the Hebrews miraculously cross bodies of water on dry ground, the crossings were dramatically different in their nature and outcome. The Red Sea crossing was executed by one man, Moses, who single handedly delivered Israel out of Egypt. The Jordan crossing was led by the priesthood, corporately carrying the presence of God. The lesson? No one man can do justice to the overarching plan of God in the earth, no matter how great a leader. Rather, it will take the priesthood of all believers to accomplish the divine purpose. And while a single person can have a profound impact in leading you out of the bondage of spiritual death and into the light of God, it takes a multitude of ministers and ministries to present you mature and complete before your maker.

As it is written, “…as the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest), that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away… So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho. Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.” Joshua 3:15-17.

Discern, therefore, the Body of the Lord, and do not look to any one man or woman to lead you into the Promised Land. God leads His people under the banner of His priesthood, as the Apostle admonished us, saying, “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” Eph. 4:4-6.

THE SPIRIT TO FIGHT

Further, during the first Passover and crossing, the enemy was in hot pursuit and Israel was fleeing for their lives. In contrast, during the Jericho Passover God’s people took the initiative and were on the offensive, engaging and pursuing their enemies in order to defeat them, clear the land, and obtain the promises. The lesson? Not even one of God’s promises to you and to your household will be obtained without a fight, not while we have an enemy in this world, and we all must learn to change from the “survivor” mentality to the “conqueror” mentality.

The fact is that in spite of the plethora of human sufferings, abuse and dysfunction the Apostle lists in Romans chapter eight, he insists that “…yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom 8:37-39. Have you connected to the love of Christ for you in such a way that lifts you above the gravitational pull of your humanity? Have we? This is our greatest calling in this life, this is where the power abides that sustains and propels us, and this is where we make the most progress.

NO MORE SPIRITUAL BEGGERS

The first Passover introduced Israel to Manna, while the Jericho Passover forced them to start cultivating the fields and work the ground to produce their provisions and livelihood. “And they ate of the produce of the land on the day after the Passover… on the very same day. Then the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land; and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Canaan...” Joshua 5:11-12.

We all like the notion of the Manna, the “free and easy supply” from heaven that kept showing up miraculously every morning. We even invented pet doctrines to promote such foolish expectations, failing to realize that this phenomenon was an inferior and temporary arrangement for a people who were dying because of fear, unbelief and disobedience, and who were kept in the wilderness “on a holding pattern” until that entire generation completely perished while a new generation was being birthed which was capable of inheriting the promises.

The scripture is clear, telling us that “…you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.” Deut 8:2-3. Manna was God’s provision for the wilderness generation. In contrast, those who enter into the Land and inherit the Promises must learn to contend for God’s will in their lives and labor in His fields as He calls and enables us.

MARKED BY THE SIGN OF THE COVENANT

The first Passover was characterized by the slaying of Egypt’s firstborn, a dramatic divine intervention delivering God’s children from Pharaoh’s harsh oppression while avenging the blood of the Hebrew babies who had been tossed into the crocodile infested Nile. The Jericho Passover, on the other hand, was characterized by Israel’s corporate circumcision, the purging and wounding of the carnal nature that was required before they could engage their enemies in battle. In other words, the wilderness generation is capable of meandering aimlessly in the desert of life without even a concern about bearing God’s covenant mark; while the generation that desires to enter the Land must first pass under God’s knife the cuts away that which is carnal, fleshly and unredeemable.

“So it was … at that time the LORD said to Joshua, ‘Make flint knives for yourself, and circumcise the sons of Israel...’ So Joshua made flint knives for himself, and circumcised the sons of Israel at the hill of the foreskins. And this is the reason why Joshua circumcised them: All the people who came out of Egypt who were males, all the men of war, had died in the wilderness… all the people born in the wilderness, on the way as they came out of Egypt, had not been circumcised. For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people who were men of war, who came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they did not obey the voice of the LORD; to whom the LORD swore that He would not show them the land … Then Joshua circumcised their sons whom He raised up in their place; for they were uncircumcised… Then the LORD said to Joshua, ‘This day I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.’ Therefore the name of the place is called Gilgal to this day.” Joshua 5:1-9.

Remember this unchangeable law: Every step deeper into the Promised Land of God’s destiny and calling necessitates a prior circumcision of our flesh nature. Whether pride, fear, selfishness, foolishness or any other fruit of the flesh (see Galatians 5) that constitutes the “sin that so easily besets you,” we all must gird ourselves and brace for the knife. It never feels good, but it always yields the precious fruit of righteousness.

REMEMBER ISRAEL

Pray with us as we soon travel to Israel with a group of dedicated saints to seek the Lord, study with Israeli scholars, encourage our Messianic brethren, and entreat the Lord for the Peace of Jerusalem. Israel’s newly elected nationalistic government, as expected, is upholding a stronger line than previous governments regarding the futile “peace negotiations” with the Palestinians under Iran’s building nuclear threat and continual spawning and financing of terrorism and Jihadist aspirations . Not surprisingly, Western powers, including the liberal/secular American administration, are actually following suit in raising the bar and demanding realistic and forthcoming steps toward peace from the dysfunctional Palestinian camp. This “honeymoon” will only last a while.

This is always the case: As Israel upholds godly wisdom, confidence and purpose, the world follows, at least for a while. Whenever Israel compromises with the intimidation of the enemy and capitulates through fear and insecurity, the world follows that too. Pray accordingly. In spite of how things may appear to the natural eye, the first born nation still sets the course for the rest of the nations as far as God’s purpose in the earth is concerned.

At the same time, remember in prayer the Messianic Body of believers in Israel that is entering a season of sustained persecution and hardship. The newly elected government, while walking closer to the counsel of the Lord in regards to Israel’s divine calling and the territorial integrity of the Land, is also inundated with Orthodox politics that are notoriously anti-Messianic and supportive of strong legal, even militant, actions designed to counter the expression of faith in Messiah Jesus as exhibited among the Messianic Believers in the Land.

May the Word of the Lord be their, and our strength, exhorting us to “… let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent… you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake…” Philippians 1:27-29. Suffering, according to Paul the Apostle, is part and parcel of the divine package. Something that is granted us, according to this scripture, constitutes a gift, making suffering a gift of God to be cherished, embraced and maximized. May His grace be with us all as we come to term with His truth.

There is still time to join our group of intercessors and worshipers as we travel to the land of Israel June 7-15, 2009. Contact us at
onenewmanmail@aol.com or 507-438-9096 to learn more. You may ask, why go through the expense and effort to travel to Israel this summer? Because, in that small land, and among this embattled yet chosen nation, are found both the origin and the consummation of our biblical faith in the Creator God. In the Land of Israel the ancient prophets spoke; the scriptures were written; and the Messiah accomplished His eternal work. There, His Kingdom will be established upon earth where He will reign with righteousness and peace. Come with us to Israel, experience the Land and the people, and participate in the building up of the One New Man reality.

As a practical expression of your faith, while standing with the Lord as you watch and pray with Him over Israel, please consider supporting Messianic Believers in Israel through our ISRAEL FUND. Your supports helps those persecuted for the Faith, people of excellence, and those with hearts to do great things with God as He establishes His testimony in Israel during these turbulent times.

ONE NEW MAN CALL is supported by friends of the Ephesians 2:14-15 vision, calling Jew and Gentile to dwell as one in God’s Olive Tree. To learn more, to support this work, or to provide direct support to Messianic Believers in Israel, contact us at the address below. Thank you.

The Burning

The days are coming that will burn like an over. Woe unto you who desire the day of the LORD! We must go to the altar of cleansing on a daily basis. The "game" of mankind and governments working out their problems and issues is drawing to a close.

God is rising from His throne and He will shortly, and even now, is showing the nations of the earth who is in total control. In this burning, anything that is not of God, even in Believers, will be consumed. Submit to the heat and allow Him to purge and cleanse. It is necessary or it would not be happening. Those who have been forgiven much will in return love much! Consider the woman that washed Christ feet with her tears. This kind of love is what He ultimately desires.

The Children of Israel had 2000 years from Abraham to the appearance of Messiah; Scripture shows that He was rejected by most and accepted by only a few faithful followers. Many of these paid the ultimate price and were willing and able to do so because of the indwelling of the Spirit of God. They loved not their life unto death.

What is called the Church has also had 2000 years since the ascent of Christ into the Heavens. Are we smarter or more "spiritual" or more discerning than the Children of Israel were? The Apostle Paul warns us against boasting against the root of our faith. We were grafted into this wonderful plan of God.

We must intercede like never before and pray the natural Israel, en mass, becomes the spiritual One New Man, with other Believers scattered around the globe. These are wondrous, eventful, perilous times in which we were trusted by God and privileged to be living. The Father knew that we would "hang tight" with and lean upon Him, that is why we are here!

Hold fast to our confession of faith. He is in total control as the world spins out of control. He is behind it all!

He is with us ALWAYS! Even to the end of the world.

We await His Kingdom of righteousness, justice and peace. All things will be restored and made new. And, we will be here to experience the renewal!!!

GREAT CONFIDENCE!

We live in a confused, rebellious evil world. We are surrounded by sin and shame. But we have special promises from our Father that He will take us from among the heathen; this infers that He is well aware of where we are, what our situation is, what our troubles and heartaches are.

He will, not we will, but He will, remove us and we will no longer be defiled by the idols and detestable things or transgressions. He will save us out of our dwelling places where we have sinned and He will cleanse us and we will truly be His people and He and He alone will truly be our God.

What are these promises based upon? His Word.

EZEKIEL 37:21-23
" And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD GOD;
Behold, (pay attention, listen, believe) I WILL take them from among the heathen,
whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side,
and bring them into their own land;"

" And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel;
and one king shall be king to them all (Christ)
and they shall be no more two nations, (divided hearts)
neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all;"

" Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols,
nor with their detestable things,
nor with any of their transgressions;
but I WILL SAVE them out of all their dwelling places,
wherein they have sinned,
and will cleanse them;
so shall they be My people,
and I will be their God."

HANG ON!

DO NOT LOSE HEART!

What is another precious promise He has given His children? Romans 4:17 says,
"God, who quickens the dead and calls things which are not as though they were!" When we feel dead and forsaken, call upon His quickening Spirit to breathe His life into our being, both spiritual being and physical being. He who has promised is Faithful and True; these are two of His Names.

Our God will complete what He has started. He who has begun a good work in us will finish it. Weather we live or die, we are the LORD'S. May He be glorified in all of our ways.

HE is able to keep us from stumbling (falling away),
and to present us faultless before the Presence of the Father.
Stay in Jesus; His blood will make us whole.

NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN?

Georgetown Says It Covered Over Name of Jesus to Comply With White House Request
Wednesday, April 15, 2009
By Edwin Mora

Photo of Gaston Hall stage that shows symbol "IHS" that was covered up during President Obama's speech to accommodate a White House request. (Wikimedia photo)(CNSNews.com) - Georgetown University says it covered over the monogram “IHS”--symbolizing the name of Jesus Christ—because it was inscribed on a pediment on the stage where President Obama spoke at the university on Tuesday and the White House had asked Georgetown to cover up all signs and symbols there.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the “IHS” monogram that had previously adorned the stage at Georgetown’s Gaston Hall was still covered up--when the pediment where it had appeared was photographed by CNSNews.com.

President Obama is greeted by Georgetown University President John J. DeGioia as he arrives to deliver remarks on the economy, April 14, 2009, at Georgetown University. Georgetown had covered the symbol "IHS" on the pediment above and behind the two men. (AP Photo/Gerald Herbert) “In coordinating the logistical arrangements for yesterday’s event, Georgetown honored the White House staff’s request to cover all of the Georgetown University signage and symbols behind Gaston Hall stage,” Julie Green Bataille, associate vice president for communications at Georgetown, told CNSNews.com.

“The White House wanted a simple backdrop of flags and pipe and drape for the speech, consistent with what they’ve done for other policy speeches,” she added. “Frankly, the pipe and drape wasn’t high enough by itself to fully cover the IHS and cross above the GU seal and it seemed most respectful to have them covered so as not to be seen out of context.”

Pediment in Gaston Hall with "IHS" covered as photographed by CNSNews.com, April 15, 2009. (Photo by Penny Starr,CNSNews.com)On Wednesday, CNSNews.com inspected the pediment embedded in the wall at the back of the stage in Gaston Hall, where Obama delivered his speech. The letters “IHS” were not to be found. They appeared to be shrouded with a triangle of black-painted plywood.

Pictures of the wooden pediment prior to Obama’s speech show the letters “IHS" in gold. Many photos posted on the Internet of other events at Gaston Hall show the letters clearly.

The White House did not respond to a request from CNSNews.com to comment on the covering up of Jesus’ name at Gaston Hall.

Roman Catholics traditionally use “IHS” as an abbreviation for Jesus’ name. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, “St. Ignatius of Loyola adopted the monogram in his seal as general of the Society of Jesus (1541) and thus became the emblem of his institute.” The Society of Jesus is the formal name for the Jesuits.

(Photo by Penny Starr, CNSNews.com)Although the monogram was covered over on the wooden pediment at the back of the Gaston Hall stage where it would have been directly above and behind President Obama as he spoke, the letters “IHS” are posted elsewhere around the hall approximately 26 times on shields representing different parts of the United States and the world.

Obama did not mention the name of Jesus during his address. However, he did mention Christ’s Sermon on the Mount.

“There is a parable at the end of the Sermon on the Mount that tells a story of two men…‘the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house…it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock,’” Obama said.

“We cannot rebuild this economy on the same pile of sand,” he added. “We must build our house upon a rock.”

* MY THOUGHTS:
When our leaders speak of praying on a matter or issue of importance in their speeches, to whom are they praying? The Bible says that there is no other Name under heaven whereby we can be saved; and that Name is offensive and has to be covered up?

To what God are they referring in their "prayers",

If they are ashamed or offended by His Son who is the only hope of mankind, to whom are they to go?

Secular Humanism is God in this nation. I would not be surprised if Time magazine or another publication did not come out with a front cover and article that "God Is Dead." Great darkness is falling upon the world, but take comfort, our King is waiting in the wings ready to take His Bride!

There is shortly to come both a great war and a great wedding feast! What exciting days we have been blessed to live in. God has seen fit, He has counted us worthy, to be the generation that sees the culmination of all things! Look up-our redemption draws neigh!

SONG FOR TODAY

Jerusalem of Gold.
Christ wept over the city God has chosen to reveal Himself to fallen mankind.
She missed the day of her visitation;
Her fall resulted in salvation being offered to all of mankind;
If her fall resulted in our salvation-her soon-to-come redemption
will be nothing short of ressurection from the dead!

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem;
it is, and will always be the city of God-
may those who love her prosper.

WOE UNTO US?

Amos 5:18~
Woe unto you who desire the Day of the LORD!
To what end is it for you?
The day of the LORD is darkness and not light.

As Yeshua (Jesus) was being led to His crucifixion He made a startling statement~

" For if they do these things when the tree is green,
what shall be done in the dry? "

We are heading for the consummation of all things on earth. Soon the Anti-Christ will confirm the covenant with many for one week (seven years); and in the middle of the week he will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,

and for the overspreading of abominations he will make it (the temple and anything that stands for God) desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (Daniel 9:27)

In context of what these Scriptures say, we can see with our spiritual eye the total abandon of societies all over the globe against anything that represents or speaks of a Holy God; a God that demands worship, honor and reverence.

The consummation of evil will take place; it has been determined. Sin reaching its fullness is like water pouring into a dam that was built; eventually it will reach the top of the dam and overflow. There is a cup of iniquity that God is watching and when sin and rebellion reaches the brim of that cup events on earth, coming from heaven, will increase substantially.

What of me and those I love and pray for? I can sense in my spirit that as these events unfold and as the pace quickens in the spiritual world, God will burn everything that is not pleasing to Him away from my spirit. There are things that I continue to cling onto that I do not even realize. These things must go!

The day of the LORD described by the Prophets are compared to a burning oven. Heat blasting against a strong wall; a fire-storm, so to speak. As horrible as this will seem to my human side, to the spiritual side it is a cleansing process and for my eternal good.

I want to see Jesus! I want to be raptured and avoid all of these things; but, another side of me wants to be acceptable to Christ when I enter into His presence. I am only going to enter into His presence one time, for the first time in person. I want that encounter to be something I am not ashamed of. It is like meeting the one you are going to marry and spend your earthly life with; if it is a special meeting it stays with us forever! I want my meeting with Christ to be like that. Seeing Him for the first time will be of eternal signifigance!

In His faithfulness and great mercies, He will do what is necessary for the meeting to be what it should be; but I have to be willing to submit to His dealings with me in the process! A burning oven, a cleansing is not pleasant to the natural man; but as Father Abraham said long ago, " Shall not the God of all the earth do right?" What He is doing is necessary or it would not be happening.

The consummation of evil spoken of by Daniel, Amos and Christ is upon us. This will continue to increase until every little thing that stands in opposition to God will be removed from this planet. As Believers we must intercede for the lost and dying, that they come to a full knowledge of what is happening and that repentance and salvation occur in the process.

The green tree Christ spoke of was crucified and paid the ultimate price for our salvation. The dry tree He also spoke of are the days in which we live. If the world system rejected Him, should we expect something different?

His desire is that we may be One. He will do what is necessary to bring His desire to fruition.

Hang loosely onto the things we have been accustomed to; He is at work and the heat is being increased. It is for our eternal good. The desire of our hearts should be to enter into His presence in the place that He has prepared for us with confidence that we have been good and faithful servants.

TRUST LIKE MT. ZION

Psalm 125: 1 says "Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion;
they shall not be moved."

Mount Zion, the holy mount of God! Am I like that? How far along am I in the process? Do I have that kind of trust in God or am I more like a little speed bump instead of a mountain?

While I was wondering how far along I am in the "trust" process, I thought of traveling with my parents as a child and asking a thousand times, "are we there yet..."

The word trust as explained in the Bible Concordance means to be confident, to be sure and secure. Psalm 125:1 is also saying that those who are confident, sure and secure in the LORD are as Mount Zion.

Psalm 37:40 says, " And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him." Psalm 56:11 says, " In God have I put my trust; I will not be afraid what man can do unto me." Psalm 62:8 says, "Trust in Him at all times; ye people ( that's you and me!) pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah."

Are we there yet?

When we arrive there is security, assurance and confidence, not in ourselves and our abilities, but our trust is IN HIM!

OLDER BROTHER'S ARE LEAVING

The economic crisis is prompting Israeli's who have been living abroad to again look to Zion as their place of safety. More than 2,000 Israeli's have returned to Israel between August and mid October 2008. This is a 50% increase from the same period of last year.

Immigration from the former Soviet Union, after its breakup, and after a further economic crisis and banking crash there in 1998 resulted in 1,000,000 Jews immigrating from there to Israel.
During this time frame when these from Russia moved back to Israel, 800,000 moved back from the USA, Germany and Canada to join family members and relatives who were already living there.

These facts, in relation to the word of God, dovetail to last day fulfillment of prophecy. God said that in the last of days He would speak to the four winds of the earth and regather His chosen people back to Eretz (the Land) of Israel.

Why? Even now on the horizon, He is pressuring Iran, Russia, Turkey, and other Islamic nation's to gather together and attack Israel in what they think will be the final knock-out blow and destruction. GOD IS DOING THIS! Not Satan. Even the enemy is putty in the hands of our Father. Satan is so deceived himself that he still thinks, I believe, that he may possibly win. Or, as could also be possible, Satan is trying to delay the war and delay the forming of one world government and the invasion mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and 38?

At present, the way things are in societies, the devil is having a field day; abortion on demand, wars and murder, robbery and violence. The status quo is quite appealing to him, I would think. Millions under deception and being lost for eternity. He is robbing right out from under God human beings created in the image of God.

Either way, our elder brother's in the faith, Judaism, the basis of Christianity, are leaving the USA. From a natural aspect, this is a disaster as bad as the economic crisis. The United States was blessed in years since our founding as a nation because we were a safe haven, for the most part, for His chosen people.

As the Prophet Daniel said in Daniel 10:20, the Heavenly Messenger told him that He had to return to battle against the Prince of Persia (Iran) and then behold the Prince of Greece (human reason, humanism) will come. This Heavenly Messenger was fighting a war on two fronts, as are we. We battle in the heavenlies against terrorism on the one hand, and against humanism and social acceptance of everything, on the other hand. There is an ongoing war we are waging in the spirit.

The now is, as the days draw to a close, how much do we recognize the battle in which we are engaged? In Daniel 10:21 the Angel of the LORD says, "I will tell you what is recorded in the Scripture of Truth, and no one is strengthening himself together with Me against these except Michael your Prince alone..."

How about us? To be successful in warfare we have to understand who the enemy is! The Apostle Paul says to not be ignorant of the devices and wiles of our enemy. We can be so bogged down with our personal lives and issues, praying about our own situations, and I do have situations on a daily basis; but I must also assist the Angel of the LORD in His great last day battle to bring His own flesh and blood, in a natural sense, back to a full understanding of who their God, and His Saviour is.

We fight against our modern societies where secular humanism reigns supreme. We fight against the nations who seek the destruction of Israel, and we fight our own personal battles as we make our requests known to God and also intercede for family and friends for their salvation.

God is in control! We are His chief interest on this earth. Christ loves us and resides in us. The Holy Spirit will lead us in our prayers. The Spirit knows the mind of the Father and Christ intercedes on our behalf regarding all issues; the personal issues and international issues. We are that special treasure Christ spoke of in His parables. We seem to be hidden in a vast field of humanity and at times we even feel lost ourselves. But take great comfort; He has found us, He gave everything that He had on our behalf, and our salvation and eternity with Him is secure through Him!

We truly live in exciting days! These are the days the Prophet's spoke of!!

Our elder brother Israel is leaving to return to the Land God gave them, and from there He will once again show every being in the universe that the nations of the world are as dust, He blows and they are removed. Truly, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
