We have a place of refuge; our refuge is a Person. Evening, morning and at noon, we can pray and cry aloud: and He will hear our voice. As we call upon the LORD, He will save us. (Psalm 55:16,17)
He has committed Himself to our welfare. He is involved in every circumstance that concerns us. We should cast our burdens upon the LORD; He will sustain us: He will never suffer the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22) Many times we will feel moved and shaken in our spirit; but we are secure in Him.
In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead; We are complete in Him. He is the head of all principality and power. This thought should bring peace to our heart and mind. Philippians 4:6 says, "Be careful (do not worry) for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let our requests be made known unto God."
One day very soon we, like John the beloved, will see a new heaven and a new earth. All cares, sin and worries will pass away. We will be residents of the New Jerusalem, that city build without hands; prepared by God for those whom He calls His own.
That's you and me! From that perspective, things are definitely looking up!
